  1. Wechat share button [Unsolved]

Wechat disabled the Javascript hyperlink sharing function. I need to figure out a way to share my blog to Wechat. It seems that I am forced to use the Wechat QR code to share my blog.

  1. Render the website [Solved]

Something went wrong when I tried to render the website. It is stuck in one of my past version of the webcite, yet once I clicked the Liu's Journey page, the problem disappeared. I am not sure what happened. I will keep an eye on it.

Dec 31 2023 Update: I figured out the problem in the quarto official guideline. The Freeze function is used during rendering. Add Freeze: True to force rendering.

  1. Comments on Website [Unsolved]

I need to figure out a way to add comments on my website.

Jan 12 2024 Update: I realized I enabled the comment function on my website by default. It is achieved by hypothesis.io. Meanwhile, a new problem occurred. As the comment made, the text on the webpage will be highlighted. I need to figure out a way to disable the highlight function to keep reading experience intact. I am also not certain whether the comments will be kept if I update the website. I will keep an eye on it.

I have added the RSS function, you may subscribe the blog by clicking the RSS icon on the right corner. I also noticed that some web browser do not have a default render, such as Firefox. Please try other browsers, or simply copy the following link and manually set up in your RSS reader:

I met a problem when I tried to push my website to Github. I got the following error message:

It is due to github try to render the website bu jekyll in default. Problem solved by following guidance provided by quato official doc.

I am trying to add references to my articles. .bib file seems too complicated, but footnotes are not working appropriately. I will try to figure out a way to add references to my articles.
